Proctorio: Display Incident Log

Display Incident Log

Proctorio embeds an incident log within the gradebook review to quickly identify what actions were flagged. This is the preset display when opening a student's attempt of an exam. However, you can select the Proctorio logo in the Exam Toolbox to open this display if you navigate away from it.

The incident log shows both Proctorio annotations and user made annotations. The incidents that were flagged by Proctorio are displayed in black, while the professor annotations are displayed in red. The display shows the time of the flagged behavior and a brief description of the incident.

The incident log will automatically move to any point of the exam which you select. So if you just wanted to review a flagged section of the exam you can select it on the time line, and the incident log will automatically jump to that portion of the exam.

When Record Web Traffic is enabled all visited website URLs will also be displayed in the incident log. These links are clickable to review the sites the test taker visited. There is also an option to quickly view a screenshot of the website. For more information see the Record Web Traffic article.

The incident log display can also be reconfigured within the annotations tools. This can be helpful when T.A's review exams. You can find more information on annotations at the Professor Annotations article. There are three view states:
